Outer Core
The Outer Core is the Earth's third layer deep. It is also the second largest layer, racking up 2,266 km in depth. This layer is composed of Iron and Nickel, and is about 2,890 km benieth the Crust and from where the Inner Core meets the Outer Core the distance to the Earth's Crust is aproximatley 5,150 km. The temperature of the outer core ranges from 4400 °C in the outer regions to 6100 °C near the inner core.
